random thoughts on post thirty of thirty for the month of NaBloPoMo—whoops, i mean november

Soundtrack in my head: Thievery Corporation, “Resolution”

Well, I did it, NaBloPoMo. Thirty posts in thirty days.

In many ways, it was perfect timing, because this will be a month that I will remember for quite some time. Declaring myself a Baha'i during NaBloPoMo probably allowed me to express more and share more than I otherwise would have.

But even if I didn’t have life-changing events to write about, there is still a lot to write about, and it wasn’t too difficult to find material to post about. Though sometimes I had to stretch myself,  I never did resort to printing the lyrics to "Mary Had A Little Lamb" as filler.

This thing about posting every day—well that stops after today.  I’m not going to do it unless I get paid.  As fun as it was, I don't think I'll do this exercise again next year, either.  Though I might feel differently on October 30, 2008.

So I’m going to close with yet more possible definitions of “NaBloPoMo” if NaBloPoMo were a word.

  • Extreme bubble gum that you can chew for hours.
  • A means by which people can belong to a social networking site and ignore it at the same time.
  • A giant cereal box full of words and maybe there’s a toy surprise at the bottom.

Done.
